Im Frühjahr 2022 kehrt langsam wieder so etwas wie Normalität in unser Leben ein, und so steht ein kleiner Trip nach Madeira
auf dem Programm. Eine Reise, die wir aufgrund der Corona-Zeit verschieben mussten - nun war es endlich so weit.
Wir nutzen die Gelegenheit, einen weitestgehend "normalen" Urlaub zu machen.

Das kleine Eiland im Atlantik liegt ca. 700km westlich der marokkanischen Küste bzw. 500km nördlich der Kanaren und
gehört politisch zu Portugal (und damit zur EU). Die Lage ist ganz grob gesehen zwischen den Azoren und Kanaren...

Madeira ist sehr gebirgig und die Küsten fallen z.T. steil ins Meer ab - eine tolle Landschaft, die durch eine üppige Vegetation auch zur
allgemeinen Bezeichnung "Blumeninsel" geführt hat.

In spring 2022, something like normality will slowly return to our lives, and so a little trip to Madeira is planned
on the program. A trip that we had to postpone due to the Corona period - now the time had finally come.
We take the opportunity to have a largely "normal" vacation.

Madeira is very mountainous and some of the coasts drop steeply into the sea - a great landscape, which is also enhanced by lush vegetation
