"The Tropics Restaurant", das hier von 1950-1997 geöffent war. 2014 wurde das Restaurant abgerissen - das große Neonschild wurde eingelagert. 2018 - nachdem das Restaurant in die Route 66 Hall of Fame aufgenommen wurde - ist das restaurierte Schild wieder aufgestellt worden und steht heute wieder als Attraktion an seiner alten Stelle. The large neon sign is the last remnant of the legendary and popular "The Tropics Restaurant", which was open here from 1950-1997. In 2014 the restaurant was demolished - the large neon sign was put into storage. 2018 - after the restaurant was inducted into the Route 66 Hall of Fame - the restored sign has been re-erected and is now back in its original place as an attraction.
